FAQ's

What will the logo design process be like?

First you will submit your Creative Brief, or design input and preferences, so that designers have an idea of what you are looking for and a base to start the design work. Within 3 business days you will receive your initial concepts (the number of concepts you receive is based on which package you purchased). If you need to make changes to the concept that you select, you can submit a revision request. The turn-around time for revisions is 2 business days.

To speed up the process here are 3 recommendations:

  • Fill out the creative brief completely. If you need help, contact LayerNext and you will be helped through it.
  • Provide as much detail as you can in the revision process, so designers can get it right the first time.
  • Talk to a Project Manager to try to get a clear idea of what you want to see in your logo. If you are indecisive, the process can take longer because designers will be designing in the dark.

What if I don't like my initial concepts?

You are eligible to refund your project up to the point where you select an initial concept to revise. If you do not like your initial concepts, you can contact Layernext Customer Solutions Group and they will process a refund for you, less a $99.00 administration fee.

If you feel like maybe the designers did not have the right information, or if you now have a better understanding of what you want for your logo, then you can proceed without refunding. It's probably a good idea to have a telephone conversation with a LayerNext Project Manager, so you can figure out which direction is the best for you.

What if I need help figuring out what I want?

The Customer Solutions Group is staffed with Project Managers who are trained in design and branding, specifically in the area of logos and stationery design. Should you need their assistance, call +91 99251 00941.

It also recommended that you do some homework. The internet is a great resource to view logos in all kinds of industries. Do a search for the Top 50 Logos, or logos in your specific industry. The designers will do their best to understand your industry, your target, and your business. However, it always helps them provide you better service when you have an idea of what you like.

What does a revision round entail?

After you choose a concept that fits the direction you want to take your logo, a new set of compositions (or "revisions") will be sent for you to review. In the revision stage, designers are fine-tuning the logo to become exactly what you want. Most commonly in a revision, they are fixing things like color, fonts or layout to the logo. Sometimes a more extensive revision is necessary, and if there are any questions about your request the designers will attempt to contact you.

What happens when I've finished the logo design?

Once you have approved the final logo design, the designer will create final logo files, and upload them to your Logoworks.com account. The formats you will receive are EPS (the editable design file), JPG, GIF, TIFF, BMP and PNG. The files will remain in your account online, so you can access them at any time.
